A study visa is issued at the consular office of the Republic of Belarus at the place of residence. Document requirements may be different for countries and regions of the world, therefore, for detailed information on obtaining a visa in your region, please refer to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus

You can get to Belarus by air flight: BelAvia (belavia.by); Turkish Airlines (turkishairlines.com); Arab Airlines (airarabia.com) and others.

In case of an independent arrival in Minsk, it is necessary to inform the International students office  in advance (3 days) the date and time of arrival by phone +375 17 356 65 92 or e-mail: foreigners@belstu.by. In addition, you need to get information about the location of the hostel in which you have reserved a place in advance. It is advisable to check into the hostel during working hours from 9:00 to 17:00 Minsk time.

It is very important to take into account the fact that Minsk-2 National Airport is located 50 kilometers from the city of Minsk. You can be delivered to the center of Minsk by a scheduled bus ($3), or an airport transfer to any point in the city of Minsk ($20).

If there is no Belarusian Consulate / Embassy in your home country you can apply for visa at Consulate department of the national airport “Minsk-2”. In this case you will be met at the airport by the university representative.

If you informed International student’s office in time, you will be provided with accommodation in the University hostel immediately upon arrival.
