The Master’s Degree diploma is the second university degree. The programs comprise deeper study of special courses, credits and exams, research work, preparation and defense of the master thesis. The individual curriculum of master’s degree program is designed to develop the skills needed for students to succeed in qualifying examinations for PhD Degree.
Terms of study:
- full-time study – 1-2 years;
- extra-mural study – 1,5 – 2 years;
- distance learning – 1,5 – 2 years.
Admission requirements
Those graduates already holding a Bachelor s Degree (obtained in their home country) and applying for admission to Master’s Degree programs at BSTU must submit their Bachelor’s Degree academic certificates and the certificate of equivalence of their Bachelor’s Degree diploma.
Interviewing applicants for a Master degree course
International applicants applying for a Master degree course shall pass an interview in the language of instruction and in the subject area. Training is conducted in Russian or English.
Education in the magistracy is carried out at 7 faculties of BSTU in 28 specialties
Upon completion of training, an international master’s degree is issued.
