As Russian is the main language of instruction for most BSTU graduate programs you are required to have at least B1 Russian. Our Russian language courses offered by PRE-UNIVERSITY DEPATMENT FOR INTERNATONAL STUDENTS are intended to gain the basic skills of spoken and written Russian for both everyday and classroom communication. All courses are delivered by fully qualified and professional teachers of the Russian language who have broad experience of working with international students.
Intensive classes are conducted using both traditional teaching methods and new educational technologies that allow course participants to prepare for everyday communication in a language environment.
Students have the opportunity to study in groups or individually. Groups are formed taking into account the level of Russian language proficiency of foreign citizens. Classes in groups begin as groups form (6-10 people). Upon graduation, students take exams that determine the degree of knowledge of the Russian language.
The course duration can vary between one and ten months (min. 80 – max. 644 academic hours).
In addition to classroom activities, students are invited to participate in various cultural, sports, educational events, competitions; they will be able to visit the youth student environment, join student life.
Students can get acquainted with the cultural heritage of Belarus and Russia, with audio and video materials that demonstrate the richness of the Russian language and Russian culture.
Those who successfully complete the course program and pass the exam receive a certificate.
